Product Description Bandai's High Grade Universal Century kit line continues to get better and better and nowhere is this in evidence more than on the latest kit, the 00 Gundam Seven Sword/G. This is a lot of kit for a retail price of 1,600 yen! Molded in color with clear parts and marking stickers. As always, plenty of poly-caps are used to ensure a great amount of articulation. Weapons include GN Sword II Blaster, GN Buster Sword II (assembles in shield and sword mode), GN Katar, GN Sword II Long (assembles in rifle and sword mode), GN Sword II Short, and GN Beam Saber. That's a lot of firepower!

| Customer Reviews: Great Toy. July 9, 2010 Akatsuki This model was the first one i ever made and i really liked it. Even though its not really like the picture on here its still very good and detailed. It has a lot of weapons and they're very detailed. The only thing that i don't like is that it V thing on the head falls of a lot and also it can't carry the big sword because it's to heavy for the hand. But over all I love It! =D
Excellent, but a little tricky April 29, 2010 ashlucard713 (Fargo, ND USA) This model kit is excellent overall. The mech itself is highly detailed and highly articulated, and is easier to position than most of my other gundam models from this same series. The 00 Gundam is not a particular favorite of mine, but the sheer amount of accessories more than make up for any quibbles I have with the mech's design. True to its name, this kit comes with all the weaponry shown in the anime's 2nd season - the buster sword, the kata, long sword, short sword, beam sabers, and the blaster.
However, this kit is far from perfect. Some of the weapons - the blaster, long sword and short sword in particular - have difficulty staying in their slots, as the pegs just sit in their slots and don't really click in, so sometimes a simple poke can dislodge the weapons. Also, I had to heavily modify some of the internal bits of the buster sword simply so the white blade could retract properly - something I have never had to do with any of my other Gundam 00 mechs.
Another commenter mentioned issues with mold points, which I didn't encounter much because I trim away mold points as standard practice. (It keeps the mech's lines clean and lengthens my enjoyment of the building process.) Also the v-shaped codpiece is a little loose as the other commenter said, but judging from the shape of the connecting joints, the codpiece is meant to be semi-mobile to aid in poseability (which frankly doesn't make much sense - when snapped in, the codpiece does not get in the way at all).
Overall, the 00 Gundam kit is highly detailed, well-accessorized and beautifully designed. It doesn't have many flaws, save the couple glaring issues already mentioned. When building this model, I highly recommend shaving down the mold points and painting (or using a Sharpie) to bring out the lovely little details. This mech is an excellent addition to any Gundam armada, and I highly recommend it.
Spectacular 1/144 Scale Gundam! April 6, 2010 Scott Nelson This is certainly one of the best 1/144 scale gundam kits that I have put together in a long time. From the durability of the parts, to the sheer mass amounts of weapons that it comes with, the Seven Swords/G Gundam does not disappoint!
There are a couple flaws that I've noticed in this, however: There are a lot of mold points on almost all of the pieces, meaning that sanding them down or cutting them manually will be ABSOLUTELY. NECESSARY. The front codpiece: the white V with the red inlay at the center has some trouble staying put, and will most likely need to be super-glued for it to not get in the way...The torso does not stay put very well onto the hips, but it does include a slot for an action stand; so that's understandable.
Other than that, this model looks great out of the box! I have it posed right now beside my monitor and I have to say that the detail that they brought to this model is amazing.
I give it 4 stars! It would be 5, but the few flaws it has really glare at me.
