| Customer Reviews: motu classics merman July 28, 2010 theplastichunter i always wanted this guy but not the one we got but the one on the back of the package.it just looked fiercer and more threatening.it took them a while but i finally got my wish with this figure.the new sculpt, the subtle shading on the figure and his accessories as well as the illustration inspired alternate head, help to create a version of the ocean warlord you actually feel would be a threat to he-man and his pals.he never had any gimmick like a spring loaded fist or a torso that spinned but he has been one of the most beloved of skeletor's minions by fan support alone.sometimes that's all you need.this figure is an excellent tribute to this sea faring villain.

Don't ask me why, but Mer-Man has always been one of my favorite characters, and I was very pleased when I received his Classics figure. He was large and frightening, finally looking like he could command a degree or two of respect, unlike his bat-faced original toy and his google-eyed 2002 toy. I love how he's posed in his package, and I only wish he had the alternate filmation-friendly head on his shoulders just as much as I wish Man-At-Arms had his mustache head on his figure. Classics Mer-Man is awesome, I'm glad he was released so soon. His accessories are his interchangeable heads, Sword of Rakash, Trident and removable Armor.
